I love a good story. My career in storytelling started when I became a published author—in the first grade.
My masterpiece was The Three Balloons, an illustrated book that chronicled balloons Fred, Ted and Ned’s cross-country journey to their owner’s home.
Since those early days of deadlines (before snack time), promotion (campaigning to win my hometown’s young authors competition), art direction (coloring in their respective red, blue and green) and editors (the librarian Mrs. White), my appreciation for compelling content has only grown.
Those skills developed during my time at the N.C. State Fair, advertising agencies, record labels, and museums. These days, I'm working with artists, authors, and more, and sharing my newsletter Letter of Recommendations.
